PaRx Nature Connector

Helping you put nature time into practice.

I’m Tara Tiger Brown, PhD, a PaRx Nature Connector and Certified Forest Therapy Guide based in Vancouver, BC. I help people make a personal, practical relationship with nearby nature through accessible, self-directed nature-connection practices and guided forest-therapy experiences.

A note about PaRx PaRx prescriptions are issued by licensed health-care providers. Tara Tiger Brown is a PaRx Nature Connector who offers non-clinical support to help people put nature time into practice.

The next step

Nature time can begin close to home.

A PaRx prescription can be an invitation. I help make the next step possible: choose an accessible place, decide what to do outside, feel more comfortable beginning, and build a repeatable nature habit.

About Tara

Tara Tiger Brown, PhD

PhD, UBC Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Stewardship · PaRx Nature Connector · Certified Forest Therapy Guide

My research into nature connection and forest therapy helps inform the work of health-care professionals who prescribe time in nature. I’m one of the first forest-therapy researchers in Canada, and I bring that research together with guided forest therapy and practical digital tools. People leave with the practice and the understanding of why and how nature connection works, equipped to sustain it on their own.
