Sit with us on Saturday, February 21st @ 10 am

Join us in West Vancouver for our first in-person sit spot of 2026.

Our host is Lynn Fearn, certified Forest Therapy Guide and retired nurse.

Lynn will lead us in a sensory activity, then we will sit quietly in nature, followed by tea and reflection.

We are excited to sit with you.

Schedule
10:00–10:10 am: Meet in the lobby of West Vancouver Memorial Library

10:10 am: Walk to Sit Spot together

10:20–11:00 am: Sensory activity followed by sitting in stillness

11:00–11:30 am: Optional social connection over hot tea and a poem reading

FAQ

1. Is there a fee?
No, this is a free event.

2. Do I need experience?
No experience required.

3. Who can join?
Open to everyone. If you bring a child, we ask that they are able to sit quietly for 3o minutes.

4. Can I bring a friend?
Yes, but please ask them to RSVP.

5. Can I bring my dog?
No, we spend time quietly listening to wildlife.

6. Does this happen in all weather?
Yes, we sit rain or shine. You may bring something to sit on if you like. We will have a few tarps and tripod seats.


What is a Sit Spot Club?

We gather to pause, be still, and simply notice the world around us. For 30 minutes, we sit quietly, immersing ourselves in the forest’s sounds, scents, and rhythms.
