April 11th Cherry Blossoms at Vancouver Museum

Hanami — the Japanese tradition of gathering under cherry blossoms to mark the fleeting beauty of spring — captures something we’ve always known at Sit Spot Club: that pausing in nature, even briefly, changes us. When cherry petals fall, they do so without effort. They don’t cling. They simply let go.
Vancouver’s cherry trees are among the most spectacular on the continent, and this April we return to Vanier Park — in front of The Crab, one of our favourite meeting spots — to sit beneath the blooms with Forest Therapy Guide Tamiko Suzuki.
Come alone or bring someone you’ve been meaning to slow down with. The important thing is that you show up.
Saturday, April 11th, 10:00 am
